What a fantastic Sunday we had when we visited The Festival of the Forties, held at March in Cambridgeshire. Its a fairly new show but its already making its mark in the 1940s event scene. If you love your 40's vintage vehicles then you will be in for a treat when you visit this event in the near future. Especially if it continues to grow the way it has in its very short life. The people as usual were really lovely and the organisation from parking to the re-enactment battle was top class. In fact the battle got a great ovation at the climax . And despite a minor accident in the battle itself  it was really well co-ordinated . Hayley and I were so grateful for the kind invitation to attend and we hope to be able to visit for the complete weekend in 2020.
