We travelled the very short distance into town and upto the Brayford area to join in the festivities that were part of a commemorative programme of events marking the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe, the spirit of 1940s Britain was certainly visible as we entered the marina.

The event, saw a wonderful fly-past from the Battle of Britain Memorial flight. There were plenty of displays by military & civilian re-enactors. People were also treated to music from the era.
