We travelled again the few miles to the beautiful town of Woodhall Spa and their annual 1940s weekend , July 7th & 8th of July 2018.

The streets, venues, cafes, parks, squares, bars, hotels, halls and restaurants all take part during the weekend long festivities with those who want to celebrate life on the British Homefront in the Lincolnshire town.  It was a fantastic weekend. The people were so wonderful and I can honestly say it has to be one of the best about. There were some disgruntled folks complaining about the car park situation as it was a new organised system this year but I think it wasn't as bad as it first seemed and Rome wasn't built in a day. Give them some leeway and time. I'm sure they will get it as good as possible.
